Hello and welcome to my online shop! I'm Marisa, mum of two and designer/maker of happy handmade accessories, jewellery, decor and more. I started Happy Little Stitches in 2016, having dusted off my sewing machine after a career in museums/galleries and becoming a stay at home mum to my eldest son. My work has developed over the years to include the use of my digitally printed designs as I found drawing illustrations on my smart phone a much easier way to create with a new baby.
I have always loved art and making things, and have a degree in Fine Art (Sculpture). I have developed a love for making rainbows in all sorts of colour combinations and fabrics, and re-imagining people and things in retro ice lolly form!
